    ..Marcus Engel Drums Studio & live. Story: Born in 1989 in a small town called Köthen/Anhalt I discovered my passion to music early! I grew up in a very musical family! After the failed attempt to find my fulfillment in playing piano I began to play drums at the age of 8 years influenced by my uncle which even was a drummer I was watching as a small boy always with pleasure ! I began to play in the marching band of my school, my teacher at that time was old and not particularly well, however, he mediated good basics to me! Now I was not to be held any more and went on almost every concert of my uncle and after some time i had also guest appearances! On high school I found my first schoolband and this time I collected very important experiences for myself! A lot of other bands and lots of live-gigs are followed! I worked on studio productions and I changed to a very respected musicschool with one of the greatest drumteacher in saxony/anhalt! I spend 5 years at this school with certification every year! With my band Cut 'em Down I am actually recording a new demo and I'm working with some musicians on several projects beside! It's exactly about it on my Myspace. I am directed at gifted musicians searching for a nice young, gifted, self-controlled drummer, for their projects, no matter if it is cover or own stuff .     To play my kind can be defined clearly: exact, powerfully, energetically and very expressive! I have learnt with professionals on which it really depends with the percussion play. A good timing and hard punch are the ALPHA AND OMEGA! While working together with many musicians I learnt to be adaptable and to handle every kind of music.
